Advanced access to advanced services

The TTNC Application Programming Interface (API) has been developed to enable certain customers to develop advanced access to the extensive range of telephone numbers and call management services on offer. This includes being able to:

  • Add a copy of our number search to a website.
  • Instantly set up customers, numbers and services.
  • Integrate our services with your own website and applications.
  • Make changes, suspend or cancel services in real time.
  • Set up Fax to Email services and Voicemail services.
  • Set up numbers to forward to single or multiple destinations.

Import call data and other commands

Predominantly the TTNC API is used by our customers to import call statistics into an external system, however it can also be used to perform actions that would normally only be accessible through the online control panel. Some of the commands that can be sent to the TTNC API are:

  • Add a new user.
  • Allocate a new number to a user.
  • Find a number/user.
  • Configure a number.
  • De-allocate a number from a customer/user.
  • Delete a user.
  • Modify a user's data.
  • List numbers for a user.
  • Search through the database for available numbers.
  • Get the status of a number or user.
  • Test the connection with the API.

Accessing and making use of the API

To use this facility you will need some knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, ASP or Cold Fusion. Use of our technology and access to our number database via the TTNC API is also restricted to our wholesales customers only.
