03 Numbers

Use an 03 number instead of an 08

The main reasons for choosing an 03 phone number as an alternative to an 08 number are:

  • Calls to 03 numbers are at standard call rates, the same as calls made to landline numbers - even from mobile phones.
  • Caller's free/inclusive minute packages include calls to 03 numbers.

Charity Numbers - use 0300 phone numbers

The 03 number ranges are split further into a few sub-ranges that dictate how they can be used:

030 numbers (0300 - 0309)
Only for charities, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.
033 number (0330-0339)
Available for any person, business or organisation.
034X, 037X numbers
Only for migration from an existing 084X or 087X number or range.

Please Note: An 0300 phone number should only be used by registered charities, public sector and not-for-profit organisations. Using 'virtual' numbers

All of our numbers are 'virtual' numbers meaning they're not attached to a physical phone line or local exchange. We forward calls made to these numbers to your chosen destination - this could be a landline, mobile or international number.

The main benefits of using a virtual number are:

  • No need to install a phone line, so no line rental to pay.
  • More flexible than a fixed line number, simply take your number with you if you move premises.
  • Change where your calls are forwarded to at any time; free of charge.
  • Use to forward calls to your mobile number for a low rate.

Memorable Numbers

Memorable numbers are all about being easy to recognise and remember - that's why taxi companies use them all of the time. Our Gold, Platinum and Diamond price bands are where you'll find our most memorable numbers. Any type of business, regardless of size or industry can benefit from having a memorable (or 'special') number - it all works towards making the most of opportunities and encouraging your inbound calls.

A memorable number can be made up of numbers or letters. A numerical memorable number could look something like this:

An alpha number (where numbers can be shown as letters) could look something like this:

0845 468 MINT (0845 468 6468) or 0115 882 TAXI (0115 882 8294)

A choice of 2 ways to pay for calls

When someone calls your 'virtual' number we forward the call to your landline or mobile number. This is known as call forwarding, call routing or call diverting.

Pay As You Go (PAYG)

You can choose Pay As You Go for forwarding your calls. Much like a PAYG mobile, you put call credit on your account in advance and we deduct the call forwarding charges from this as you receive calls.
