Payphone access

Calls made to 0800 numbers from BT payphones incur an £0.85 (85p) per minute surcharge. This is in addition to your standard call forwarding costs. To avoid this surcharge, you can block calls made from BT payphones using the steps below.

Enabling or disabling Payphone Access

You can Activate/Disable the service whenever you choose in myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the 'Phone Numbers' tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button on the 0800 number you want to setup Payphone Access.

  4. Click the 'Edit' button

  5. Select Payphone Access from the list of services.

  6. Select 'Payphone Access' from the list of services

  7. Simply make sure the ON/OFF switch is set to 'ON' to allow calls from payphones to your 0800 number. If you want to stop calls from payphones and avoid this surcharge, simply set the switch to 'OFF'.

  8. Turn on Payphone Access

Please note: Enabling payphone access will incur a surcharge of £0.85 (85p) per minute on top of your usual call forwarding charges.
