Creating your SIP Trunk configuration

You can create the configuration details for your SIP Trunks in myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the 'VoIP' tab in the left hand menu.

  3. Click on 'VoIP'
  4. Click on the 'SIP Trunks' tab in the left hand menu.

  5. Click on 'SIP Trunks'
  6. Click on the green 'Create new Endpoint' button.

  7. Click on the green 'Create new Endpoint' button.
  8. Select 'IP Based Authentication' or 'User Based Authentication' and click 'Create Endpoint'.

IP Based Authentication

  1. Give the Endpoint a nickname and select the number you would like to display on your outbound calls.

  2. Add a nickname and outbound display
  3. If you have multiple unconfigured SIP Trunks, select the amount of channels you would like to use for this configuration. If you only have one, this will default to the unconfigured trunk.

  4. Select the ammount of channels
  5. Enter the external IP address of your equipment (PBX or IP phone) in order to connect to the TTNC network.

  6. Enter the IP Address
  7. Click 'Add Endpoint'.

  8. Click 'Add Endpoint'

User Based Authentication

  1. Give the Endpoint a nickname and select the number you would like to display on your outbound calls.

  2. Add a nickname and outbound display
  3. If you have multiple unconfigured SIP Trunks, select the amount of channels you would like to use for this configuration. If you only have one, this will default to the unconfigured trunk.

  4. Select the ammount of channels
  5. Create a username (between 6 and 20 lower case characters, can not contain special characters) and a password (between 10 and 32 characters, with 1 lower case letter, 1 upper case letter, 1 digit and 1 special character).

  6. Create a username and password
  7. Click 'Add Endpoint'.

  8. Click 'Add Endpoint'

Editing a SIP Trunk

You can edit SIP Trunks through myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the 'VoIP' tab in the left hand menu.

  3. Click on 'VoIP'
  4. Click on the 'SIP Trunks' tab in the left hand menu.

  5. Click on 'SIP Trunks'
  6. Click on the blue 'Edit' button.

  7. Click 'Edit'
  8. Edit the configuration details required.
  9. If you've edited the Nickname, Display Number or Channel Selection, click 'Update details'.

Deleting a SIP Trunk

You can delete SIP Trunks through myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the 'VoIP' tab in the left hand menu.

  3. Click on 'VoIP'
  4. Click on the 'SIP Trunks' tab in the left hand menu.

  5. Click on 'SIP Trunks'
  6. Click on the blue 'Edit' button.

  7. Click on the blue 'Edit' button
  8. Click 'Delete Endpoint'.

  9. Click 'Delete Endpoint'

Forwarding numbers to your SIP Trunk

You can forward numbers to your SIP Trunks through myTTNC. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in by either clicking on the login button in the header or by going to www.myttnc.co.uk
  2. Click on the 'Phone numbers' tab in the left hand menu.
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button on the number you want to forward calls to your SIP Trunk.

  4. Click the 'Edit' button
  5. Click 'Call Forwarding'.

  6. Click 'Call Forwarding'
  7. Click on the drop down menu on the Destination field.

  8. Click on the drop down menu
  9. Select your SIP Trunk from the list.

  10. Select your SIP Trunk
  11. Click 'Confirm'.

  12. Click 'Confirm'
