Frequently Asked Questions

BT confirmed 31 January 2027 as the hard switch-off date. Openreach stopped selling new PSTN and ISDN lines on 5 September 2023. No new connections are possible, migration is the only option.

If you're still on a PSTN or ISDN line and haven't migrated by 31 January 2027, your phone service will stop. VoIP and SIP lines are not affected — only copper-based PSTN and ISDN connections.

You can port your existing number to a VoIP service before the cut-off. TTNC handles the porting process end-to-end: your number moves across, your calls continue, and you keep the number your customers already know.

Most small business migrations complete within a few working days. TTNC handles all the technical steps, you don't need an IT team or specialist knowledge to migrate.
